Follow me as I Ride the Rhine

 

Once again (and it's been several years) I'm heading to Europe to do an epic bike ride.  Well, epic for me.  I plan to leave on May 20 and return July 1.  I will first fly into Paris and spend some time there, taking in the sights, before heading to Switzerland to buy a bicycle and follow the course of the Rhine River to the North Sea.

Those panniers above, will be hanging from the back of my bike and carrying all my possessions for 6 weeks of travel, so packing will be light and souvenirs will be sparse.  

Please follow me as I travel and be sure to leave comments.  I plan to post everyday and would love to hear what you are thinking and any advice you have to give.

BTW, just bought my airline tickets tonight!
