I did put my yellow pin on the cork board at the Rotterdam hostel. Looks like I was their only visitor from St George.
Rotterdam Central Station was only a 5 minute walk from the hostel. Finding the right train platform required asking a couple people. One was right, one was wrong, but I made my train. It was running 10 minutes behind schedule but I had a 36 minute layover in Brussels, so I wasn't too worried.
It helped that people sitting near me were going to the same stop. I didn't want to get off at the wrong stop! Turned out our stop was the end of the line so no worries
Made my connection with plenty of time.
I spent the ride looking out the window and playing the song "We may never pass this way again" in my mind. I didn't want to waste any of this time looking at the internet.
Off the train and walking to the terminal in Paris. 2nd class passengers have to walk further than 1st class.
Since I am staying at the same hostel as when I started in Paris, it was no trouble finding it. It's only a few blocks from the station.
Paris, and a lot of Europe, is experiencing unseasonable weather. Not as hot as St George but with humidity and no air conditioning it feels pretty darn hot. Near 90 today and over 100 by the time I head home.
I'm being lazy tonight but hope to walk to the Arc De Triumph tomorrow morning before it heats up.
I feel like I'm almost home.
We have friends who were just in Paris for that massive sudden downpour that they had on Thursday. Looked insane!! Glad it’s not doing that for you at least 😊
